EQUITY AFYA
Equity Afya is a sustainable, integrated healthcare model that provides quality, affordable and accessible healthcare using the principles of franchising. The network trains and monitors a network of Medical-Entrepreneurs to provide standardized care. This mission is advanced through a rapidly expanding network of franchised outpatient clinics across Kenya and in DRC.
Currently, Equity Afya has over 140 medical centers across the country, covering 47 counties of Kenya and 5 initial medical centres in DRC, with over 4.2 Million cumulative patient visits to Equity Afya medical centres to date. Equity Afya plans to expand to a total of 1000 outpatient centres across East and Central Africa in the coming years.
These facilities are managed and operated by a team of qualified medical personnel comprising doctors, nurses, pharmacists and pharmaceutical technologists, dentists and oral health officers, lab technologists, sonographers, and optometrists. The facilities are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that curative and preventive services are offered at the highest standards.
