Job Description
Role Purpose
To manage the company’s supply chain activities in Kenya and Zambia (demand scheduling, purchasing, tolling, warehousing and distribution) in order to achieve the set sales and customer targets and according to budget costs.
Key Accountabilities
- Participates as a full decision-making member of the BA management team in the formulation of business policy and objectives.
- Create and manage robust and cost-effective Supply within the BA, with specific emphasis on security of supply, inventory management, risk management, S&OP, local logistics and related Supply activities.
- Define and own targets set against the standard set of KPIs, to monitor Supply performance and ensure that it is delivering against the strategic imperatives.
- Proactively identify potential supply issues and work with key stakeholders to ensure that they are resolved. Operating the BA S&OP process and contributing to the growth of the business through the implementation of supply chain strategies aligned with the overall strategy.
- Works closely with BU supply chain stakeholders to develop and implement the strategic aspects of the supply chain activities.
- Develop a strong P&S team and define new ways of working
- Show strong leadership stills, motivate & create opportunities to grow for team members
- Ensure key inputs / reporting required centrally i.e. last plan and forecasts are carried out on time in full and that problems are communicated immediately with suggestions for improvement.
- Ensure the warehouse and distribution activities are meeting required customer service levels.
- Ensure good management of the tolling operations to get products re-packed and entered into the sales system in a timely manner ensuring no lost sales and also to capture any sales and marketing opportunities that arise throughout the year.

Tolling & Logistics Lead – EASA

Job Description
Role Purpose
- Production and maintenance of the Master Toll Production Schedule
- Maintenance of the Tolling Work In Progress (WIP) and Bill Of Material schedules
- Ensure alignment of the Tolling inventory figures with business and 3rd party warehouse provider – zero variance in inventory reports.
- Handling of shipment Logistics issues through interphasing with 3rd party provider (both secondary and primary logistics).
- Create / Identify opportunities for the team to liberate potential as well as enhance cross-functional communication and understanding.
- Manage Toller & tolling systems (3TP)
- Review of Toller KPI & SLA
- Manage NPI at toller & identify cost optimization
- Manage direct procurement of Bill of Materials and Direct Procurement service providers
- Review direct procurement and Logistics contracts, SLA and KPI
Accountabilities
- Work very closely with Supply Chain Controller on component inventory management to ensure accurate management reports are available on the set cyclical reporting schedules.
- Stock reconciliation on Tolling inventory with business and 3rd party provider and reporting monthly – arresting issues immediately and taking proactive measures to reconcile.
- Active participation in the Sales & Marketing monthly forecast meeting by presenting the Import and Toll Production Schedules.
- Providing weekly reports on shipment Logistics and Tolling status
- Serve as the interphase with 3rd party logistics provider by proper channeling and filing of Logistics documents (imports & exports)
- Take initiative to further develop Supply Chain processes (Tolling, Forecasting) to enhance business delivery
- Understand finance operations & working capital management
- Understanding and provision of direction on 4PL & 3PL processes
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Critical Knowledge:
- Business degree , Supply Chain qualification is added advantage
- A sound understanding of Supply Chain processes in a large organisation.
- A wide appreciation of Information Technology
- A sound understanding of Logistics : local and international (4PL & 3PL)
- An appreciation of Finance operations & working capital management
- Knowledge of SAP and SAP modules such as APO, 3TP
